Vegas to Reno Race Information

Vegas to Reno Event Waiver:
All racers, crew members and anyone entering any pit must sign our event waiver and have a “Waiver Wristband” in addition to their "Pit Access Wristband". This includes children, who must have an adult with them at all times.
- Adult Waiver - The 2026 Vegas to Reno Adult waiver will be available to sign online in early August.
- Minor Waiver - The 2026 Vegas to Reno Minor waiver will be available to sign online in early August.

- Register Pit Crew - All Driver of Records must register their pit crew members to receive "Pit Access Wristbands".
- Pit Crew Members do not need to be registered to a team for Vegas to Reno.
- Yes, Pit Crew Members still need to sign the Silver State Pit Crew Liability Waiver and have a Waiver Wristband.
- Tracking Unit Rentals - Mandatory for all Two Wheel, Four Wheel and Youth 1000 vehicles.
- Timing & Scoring Transponder Rentals - Mandatory for all vehicles.

- Helicopter Registration - All team helicopters must be registered with Best in the Desert.

Vegas to Reno Specific Race Information:
SA2015 Helmets Notice:
Due to an industry-wide shortage of helmets that meet the newly effective 2026 certification standards, and with Vegas to Reno taking place August 12th-15th 2026, Best in the Desert will grant a one-time, event-specific extension allowing the use of certain helmets that have officially reached their end-of-life date. For the 2026 Vegas to Reno, helmets certified under the following standards will be permitted: SA2015, SAH2015, FIA 8859-2015, FIA 8860-2004, and M2015.
