2026 Laughlin Desert Classic Pit Information Guide
Race teams competing in the 2026 Laughlin Desert Classic will have access to the designated Racer Pit, located off Thomas Edison Drive in Laughlin, Nevada.
Racer Pit Access Requirements:
The Racer Pit is reserved for registered race teams and provides space for team vehicles, chase vehicles, RVs, campers, trailers and overnight camping throughout race weekend. Any vehicle camping overnight will need a Pit Camping Pass.
Everyone entering the Racer Pit Area must have the appropriate event credentials:
- Waiver Wristband — Every person entering the Racer Pit Area must sign the event waiver and wear a Waiver Wristband.
- Pit Access Wristband — Free — Once the event waiver is signed and you've been given a Waiver Wristband, you will also be given a Pit Access Wristband.
- Vehicle Pit Pass — Free — Every vehicle entering the Racer Pit Area must display a valid Racer Parking Pass. Parking Passes will be provided to the Driver/Rider of Record at Race Registration.
- Pit Camping Pass — $150/Weekend — Any RV, camper, trailer or other vehicle remaining overnight in the Racer Camping Area must purchase and display a valid Racer Camping Pass, which are valid for the entire event weekend.
- How to Purchase a Pit Camping Pass: In order to maintain a safe environment for both the public and the competitors, access to the racer pits will be restricted exclusively to individuals affiliated with a race team. Unlike other AORC events where camping is a shared area with the general public, racer camping at the Laughlin Desert Classic will not be accessible to the general public. For this reason, racer camping can only be reserved by a Driver/Rider of Record from within their UNLTD Account.
Hot Pit Access Requirements:
The Hot Pit is the designated area where race teams actively pit and service their race vehicles. Access is restricted to credentialed race team members and vehicles.
- Waiver Wristband — Every person entering the Racer Pit Area must sign the event waiver and wear a Waiver Wristband.
- (5) Hot Pit Wristbands — Each race team is limited to five (5) pit crew members inside the Hot Pit.
- Hot Pit Wristbands will be issued directly to the Driver/Rider of Record during onsite Race Registration.
- (1) Hot Pit Vehicle Pass — Each race team is limited to one (1) chase truck inside the Hot Pit.
- Hot Pit Vehicle Passes will be issued directly to the Driver/Rider of Record during onsite Race Registration
Hot Pit wristbands and vehicle passes are not available for purchase.
Arriving Onsite:
When arriving, please have your appropriate event credentials ready before reaching the entrance. Event staff will verify:
- Waiver Wristbands for everyone inside the vehicle
- Racer Parking Pass for the vehicle
- Racer Camping Pass for any vehicle staying overnight
Having all required credentials ready will help keep the entrance moving and reduce wait times for everyone.
