Ciaran Naran Wins 2026 Casey Folks Vegas to Reno “The Other Way” Motorcycle Race
Ciaran Naran scored his third straight win in the 2026 American Off-Road Racing Championship on Friday by being first to the line at Casey Folks Vegas to Reno “The Other Way” presented by Camburg/Magnaflow. In a battle that came down to just seconds over a 505-mile course, Naran bested Preston Campbell with a winning time of 7 hours, 44 minutes, 26 seconds.
Riders left the line bright and early at 5:45AM, and neither Naran nor Campbell would let the other out of their sights all day long. Campbell’s JCR Honda would lead early, but both Naran’s Hero Racing Ducati Desmo450 EDX and the Norman Racing Husqvarna of defending winner Shane Logan—who had Naran as a teammate last year—would find their way past around halfway through the race and begin battling.
The tide would turn again later in the final 150 miles, with issues for the Norman Racing team taking them out of the overall hunt, and the battle coming down to Callum Norton finishing on the Ducati and Skyler Howes wrapping things up on the Honda. They’d make it to the finish line just seconds apart physically, with the Naran-led team scored just over half a minute faster as both teams destroyed the eight-hour mark.
Caiden Fenstermaker would complete both the overall and Open Pro Motorcycle podium, while Matthew Grant and Open Expert Motorcycle class winner Caleb Tate would complete the overall top five. That group would be the only other riders to finish within an hour of the pace set by Naran and Campbell’s teams, but nearly the entire top 10 would crack the nine-hour mark. Last among them was Logan’s Husqvarna, which ranked ninth overall and fifth in class with a time of 8:58.02.
Other notable class winners included Jason Shakespeare in Open 30 Expert Motorcycle with an overall top 10, Kane Hellberg in Ironman Pro Motorcycle, and Dylan Walraven as the top Quad Pro racer. Some of the riders would roll in nearly 14 hours after starting their races, with just over half of the 130 motorcycle and quad entries reaching the finish line.
