Silver State 300 Pre-Run
Silver State 300 – Pre-Running Guidelines & Enforcement:
Pre-running is a privilege, not a right. We’re able to offer it because it’s low-speed, low-impact, and doesn’t require constant monitoring—if that changes, it goes away. It’s really that simple. Please follow a few important reminders to keep everyone safe and to maintain our standing with land managers and the local community.
Pre-Run Requirements:
- All vehicles pre-running must be pre-registered at the link below.
- A RacingTrax unit is mandatory for every vehicle during pre-running and will be used to monitor speed and compliance.
- Every person in the vehicle must sign a liability waiver.
- Helmets are required at all times.
Pre-Run Rules & Regulations:
- Each vehicle is limited to one (1) lap only.
- The maximum speed limit is 55 MPH—this is not a race.
- Keep speeds controlled and focus on learning the course, not setting records.
- You must travel in the direction of the race course only, with no backtracking under any circumstances.
- Stay on the marked course at all times. Do not deviate for any reason—no shortcuts, no detours, no “just real quick.” This is critical to protecting our permits and maintaining our relationship with land managers.
- Leave no trace: pack it in, pack it out. No trash, no spinning donuts, and no creating new lines. Respect the land so we can continue to use it.
Bottom line—if we want to continue offering pre-running, everyone has to do their part. The land managers trust us because historically our racers have respected the rules. Let’s keep it that way. We appreciate all of you and the respect you show for the land, the community, and each other.
