LDC – Not The Same Old Laughlin Race Format You’re Used To!

The race format for the King Shocks Laughlin Desert Classic presented by Baja Designs, running October 17-20, has significant advancements from any other race you’ve ever experienced in Laughlin, Nevada. This is no longer a two-day sprint race.

NEW RACE SCHEDULE FORMAT
• Saturday will feature the main show with all classes
competing for one day of racing and 136 miles. 
• Racers will do the same number of laps in one day that
they previously did in two daysNEW FRIDAY NIGHT RACING UNDER THE LIGHTS
• For the first time ever, BITD will be holding Friday
Night Racing in the Laughlin Event CenterNEW CLASS 11 VW NIGHT RACE
• At 7PM sharp, the Class 11 VW race teams will
race around a 2.5 mile racecourse in the infield

NEW UTV SHORT COURSE & Y1000 FRIDAY NIGHT RACE
• Youth 1000 UTV class has been added to
“Shine Under the Lights” along with the UTV
Short Course Classes Friday night.

NEW JUST ONE DAY OF RACING – SATURDAY
• Most classes will race during the day, starting
early Saturday morning.

NEW SATURDAY NIGHT RACES
• Trick Trucks, Unlimited Cars and 6100 Spec
Trucks run at night.
