“Life is an Adventure. Come live your adventure with Best In The Desert!” Casey Folks

Arizona Desert Racing

When it comes to Arizona off-road racing, Best In The Desert offers the industry’s most exciting, affordable, and well organized Arizona desert racing opportunities. Our American Off-Road Racing Series always kicks off with our iconic Parker 250 (an event that honors the memory of our late founder Casey Folks), followed by the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker 425. Both events take place in beautiful Parker, Arizona.

Arizona Desert Racing Terrain & Climate

Home to vast deserts, soaring Southwest mountain ranges, and portions of the picturesque Colorado River, Arizona off-road racing offers some incredible, often extremely tough, terrain. Racers will find an array of dirt roads, stunning red-rock mountains, and vast expanses of undeveloped land, accompanied by hot summers and mild winters.

Arizona Desert Racing in Parker

A gateway to both the Colorado River and the Lake Havasu area, Parker, Arizona (where the Best In The Desert Parker 250 and Parker 425 are held) has one of the richest histories of off-road racing of any desert town, with Arizona desert racing in Parker dating all the way back to 1911. Parker is especially notable because of its unique location on the banks of the Colorado River, where the water has carved some of the area’s most eye-catching red-rock cliffs. Every year, we kick off our American Off-Road Racing Series with two coveted race events in Parker, both of which take place at the start of the year when the weather is often in the mid-60s and is absolutely perfect for Arizona desert racing.

Why Arizona Desert Racing?

Our founder Casey Folks raced all over the world. He found Arizona to be one of the most incredible locales for off-road racing. With peaceful expanses of wide-open desert, stunning sandstone features, and communities along the Colorado River that welcome racers with open arms, Arizona off road racing offers an experience you’ll find no place else. Racers will find some of the Southwest’s toughest and most grueling terrain while spectators and fans can enjoy a wide array of events, water sports, and outdoor activities in addition to the races they’ve come to enjoy.
