The Nevada 1000 Invitational by Best In The Desert is an exciting revival of the classic Nevada 1000 off-road race, set to
launch in April 2025. This new event serves as a homage to the original Ford Trucks Nevada 1000 (2002) and the McMillan
Nevada 1000 (2005), both of which were highly successful and celebrated events in the off-road racing community.
In 2025 Best In The Desert aims to add a modern twist to the event. The Invitational promises fresh elements and innovations
to elevate the experience while preserving the essence of the original races founded by Casey Folks, a legendary figure in the
off-road racing world.
Like the original events, the Nevada 1000 Invitational will be a three day racing event with approximately 300 miles of racing
per day. However, the 2025 event will have an emphasis on three primary elements: economic viability, logistical viability and
optimization of exposure for the racers, race teams and sponsoring partners.
The Nevada 1000 Invitational aims to set a new benchmark in modern off-road racing by blending the classic spirit of professional
off-road racing with innovative strategies. The event will focus on creating a unique stage that maximizes content opportunities,
offering a fresh and unprecedented setting that elevates the experience for racers, sponsors and spectators alike. This
forward-thinking approach is designed to showcase the sport in ways that have never been seen before, pushing the boundaries
of traditional off-road racing.

- Flexibility for Smaller Teams: Smaller race teams can opt for external pit services like Baja Pits and BITD pit support to operate with a single chase crew, optimizing their resources.
- Efficiency for Larger Teams: Larger teams can effectively cover all pits with just two chase teams, avoiding unnecessary expenditure or effort.
- Efficiency and Scalability: Flexible arrangements ensure both smaller and larger teams can optimize their operations without incurring unnecessary costs.
