Rugged Radios will be on site and ready to support the 2016 General Tire Best in the Desert “Vegas to Reno” The Long Way Sponsored by FOX off-road desert race. Supporting the 20th anniversary and inaugural 2-day race, Rugged will be stationed at Tech & Contingency, starting line, mid-point at Camp Adventure in Tonopah, and the finish line. Bringing the best race support possible, the Rugged team is outfitted with all communications needs for the racecars, teams, fans, and race officials.
Additionally, the purpose built Rugged Relay Vehicle will be on the mountain top relaying critical communications. Simply tune to the Rugged Relay channel and let our team help. With fully stocked trailers at all locations and technicians ready for anything, the Rugged team is ready to work on any vehicle needing help. From simple antenna tuning, programming, or diagnosing problems, our trained staff welcomes all participants no matter what brand, make or model of communication systems used.
