4WP Youth UTV Race Will Kick Off Best In The Desert’s Jagged X National Desert Cup Presented by Quantum Motorsports

LAS VEGAS, NV (Mar. 10, 2020): The weeks before Best In The Desert’s Jagged X National Desert Cup Presented by Quantum Motorsports are dwindling and young offroad racers around the country are gearing up to take part in the excitement.

On Friday, March 20, 2020, young UTV racers will compete for points in the second race in Best In The Desert’s Youth Championship Series. The 4 Wheel Parts (4WP) Youth Race will kick off a weekend of impressive racing at the Jagged X National Desert Cup Presented by Quantum Motorsports in Laughlin, NV.

“We couldn’t be more excited for the second round of the 4 Wheel Parts Youth Championship Series in two weeks. We doubled our support of the Youth Series by also adding a strong roster of talented youth racers to our industry-best #4WPOfficial race team. Look for drivers Kaden Danbury, Ruslan Yankilevich, Jacob Peter, Ethan Groom, Travis Sallee, and others represent 4WP on and off the track this season. Young competitors in the Youth 570, RS1/1000, and 700/800 Classes can look forward to five laps on a seven-mile loop totaling 35 miles. Racers in Youth Production 170, Modified 170, and Modified 250 Classes will race a ½ race with a Grand Prix Finish. It will be a challenging but fun day and it will be exciting to see what young guns take the lead for the upcoming generation of desert racers!

Along with the 4WP Youth Race to start out the family-friendly weekend, the Jagged X National Desert Cup Presented by Quantum Motorsports will also include a stock-UTV-only Family Poker Run. All participants in the Family Poker Run will receive a bag of swag from BITD sponsors! The Family Poker Run gives a chance for everyone from racing veteran to young newcomer to the enthusiastic fan a chance to participate and see what it’s like to run a Best In The Desert course.

Online registration for the Family Poker Run is also open until March 17, 2020, and can be found here. Check-in and day-of registration will be on Friday, March 20, 2020, at 8 a.m. in the Tropicana Laughlin Santa Fe Room.

The event as a whole will be perfect for the whole moto family. As the second motorcycle race in the 2020 series, the Jagged X Desert Cup Presented by Quantum Motorsports will feature a new, supercross format, complete with heat races and LCQs. Not only will the weekend’s 17-mile loop be challenging for competitors, but there is also $18,000 of bonus prize money on the line courtesy of Quantum Motorsports and Long Investment.

Competitors can also look forward to an exciting fuel raffle courtesy of VP Fuels. That’s right, before the weekend’s race action, Best In The Desert will raffle off two 54-gallon drums of fuel, one for UTV racers and one for MC/Quad competitors donated by VP Fuels.

For those traveling to the event, Laughlin, NV provides the perfect environment for racing enthusiasts. Not only is the desert setting ideal for offroad racing, but the culture of the town of Laughlin is built around motorsports. There’s a long history of revving engines in southern Nevada and the Laughlin Tourism Commission has been gracious to host Best In The Desert events for years.
