BITD Race Update – Monday, March 16

Best In The Desert confirms today that there are NO plans to cancel the Jagged X National Desert Cup race this weekend in Laughlin, Nevada. As of today, we have confirmed with the Tropicana Laughlin that they have no plans to close their property. We are not aware at this time of any other Laughlin hotel properties closing. We have not received notification from any regulatory permitting agency that our permits are being rescinded, and so we are still planning to race. As per our previous guidance, we will refund entry fees for any team that is not comfortable attending the event.  We announced earlier changes to how we will conduct certain indoor group race activities and may make additional changes to address health concerns and risks as we move through the week. We plan to provide daily updates since changes by other companies, agencies, and groups may affect our ability to conduct the race.
