Awards at Harrah’s Laughlin
The excitement kicks off Wednesday October 10th, with four days of exciting special events starting with Qualifying Thursday morning. First up is Qualifying for the Alexander Ford Fastest Qualifier Award for Class 6100 and the Team Ford Pole Award for Trick Truck/Class 1500. Thursday night’s thrill-packed Baja Designs UTV Night Race tops off the full day of competition.
Saturday’s and Sunday’s multi-heat style races showcase Best In The Desert’s ultra competitive Car and Truck classes. And who wants to miss the Fabtech Laughlin Leap!?! More than 250 race teams are expected to take on the newly reconfigured 16-mile racecourse. From the now extremely popular UTV Night Race sponsored by Baja Designs on Thursday, thru the Laughlin Leap competition sponsored by Fabtech, and the final heat race on Sunday, sponsored by Method Race Wheels and Jimco, the action and excitement will never slow down.
The “Fabtech Laughlin Leap” competition will be held on Saturday evening Oct. 12th at 7:00 pm. The “Fabtech Laughlin Leap” is open to all car, truck and UTV classes, and multiple awards (in addition to bragging rights) are up for grabs. Last year the teams put on an amazing show and this year will be no different. The “Fabtech Laughlin Leap” is sure to elevate the level of excitement and spectacle for everyone in attendance.

Colbey continued, “The festivities begin Thursday morning with Trick Truck, Class 1500 and Class 6100 drivers vying for the top qualifier position. Later that evening you can come out and enjoy the Baja Designs UTV Night Races. Brock Heger has a narrow points lead over Travis Chase and Adam Lunn,
who are tied for points, in Class 6100.
More than 40 mega-horsepower Trick Trucks and 1500s are set to dazzle spectators as they fly over the famed “Laughlin Leap”
The Colorado River Region and the Resorts of Laughlin are anxiously looking forward to this exciting event.
