This exciting event celebrates when Casey Folks added cars, trucks and quads to his already successful motorcycle race 28 years ago and created Best in the Desert as we know it today. Every Vegas to Reno race held since then has proven to be the embodiment of what Casey envisioned.

Online Registration Opens June 1st, 2023! There are new procedures for 2023 so please read below for crucial steps to follow for this year!  

  • Registration 
    • Things to Note:
      • The link to register can be found above or by clicking here.
      • After you register the Racer Liability Form MUST be filled out by each entrant online by August 11th. This can be filled out by clicking here.
      • Draw for Starting Positions will be August 4th.
      • Registration will be open until August 11th.
      • All walk-in entries will be required to pay a $100 on-site fee.
      •  If you need a Race Vehicle Number, call the office at (702) 457-5775
      • Transponder Numbers need to be entered correctly. These are used to score the race. If you enter your transponder number incorrectly, you could be timed incorrectly.
      • If you need to add or remove a team member not originally included on your entry form, please call the office to have this updated before the On-site Registration.

      • Each person on your pit support team will need to sign individually online. Using the Link provided HERE
      •  Each Race team will be given only the amount of wristbands as of liability forms filled out. No exceptions

A mandatory Volunteer Meeting will be held Monday, August 14th, 2023 at 6:00 PM via Zoom or in the BITD Office. You will receive an event T-Shirt, pins, stickers, and more for your participation!

 RacingTrax.com – Register for your tracking unit TODAY. Racing Trax units will be required for all Classes (Except Youth). On the same day, the on-site, registration late fee is $25. This tracking unit is separate from your transponder. THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY, NOT FOR YOUR SCORE. You will pick up the unit on site and our Racing Trax team will install it at the Tech & Event Expo. If you need a bracket, please order it today and have it installed before the event.
