Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled adventure across Nevada’s rugged terrain! Best In The Desert is proud to present a 500-mile point-to-point race like no other, pushing drivers, machines, and teams to the limit.

  • Epic Course: This high-stakes race blazes through the wild beauty of western Nevada.

  • Start Line: Kick off the journey in Crystal, NV—just 50 miles north of Las Vegas.

  • Finish Line: Cross the checkered flag in Dayton, NV—50 miles south of Reno.

  • Support Access: With 13 pit locations strategically placed along the route, your team stays in the action. One chase vehicle per team can reach most pits ahead of the race rig—maximizing support where it counts.

  • Event Headquarters: The excitement begins at the South Point Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, home to the Event Expo, driver and rider registration, and tech inspection.

Registration for 2025 BITD Race Events is ONLINE ONLY.

 We understand this process is new! If you have any questions, use the chat box at the bottom of the page for immediate assistance or call the BITD office at (702) 457-5775.

Membership Fee:

$75 per racer (one-time payment valid for the entire 2025 race season).

Each Race Team Member will need to create their own Race Ready Account. If you have more than (1) one Racer on a team, each member will need to have their membership paid before Race Registration.

Race Ready Accounts:

  • Each Race Team Member must create a RaceReady account and pay the membership fee before registering for any race event.
  • The Driver of Record (DOR) must have all team members’ email addresses before race event registration to add them to the team.

 Race Team Setup:

  • Select each team member you want to enter.
  • Each member must have a paid membership fee.

Selecting Classes:

  • Only the Driver of Record (DOR) needs to select the race class for the team.
  • Teams participating in qualifying must also add the Qualifying Class in addition to their Race Class.
  • Co-drivers and riders must be added as “Co-Driver/Rider” to avoid additional entry fees.

Transponders:

  • Unless you have previously purchased a Race Ready Transponder in 2025, each race team will be required to buy a transponder through the Race Ready site.
  • Transponders must be purchased before August 5th, 2025.
  • A purchase link and instructions will be included in the email confirmation after completing the entry form, or you can order your Transponder by CLICKING HERE
  • If you do not purchase your Transponder before the date above, there will be a $50 late fee applied on-site.

This is your chance to be at the heart of the excitement! Volunteers are the backbone of every great race, and we’re calling on passionate, dependable individuals like YOU to help make this event unforgettable.

First, fill out the Volunteer Sign-Up Form by August 1st, 2025 to secure your spot.

Next, be sure to complete the Volunteer Liability Waiver — it’s quick and easy, but absolutely essential.

Once you’re signed up, our Race Director will personally reach out to place you in one of the most exciting and crucial positions on the course. As a volunteer, you’re not just helping out — you’re helping the race happen. You’ll have the best view in the house and play a vital role in ensuring safety, flow, and energy on race day.

A mandatory Volunteer Meeting will be held via Zoom on Monday, August 11th, at 5:00 PM.

And of course, we’ve got some awesome perks for you! Volunteers will receive an exclusive event T-shirt, a limited-edition event coin, stickers, and more epic swag to show off your TEAM BITD pride.

 RacingTrax.com – Register for your tracking unit TODAY. Racing Trax units will be required for all Classes (Including Youth UTV’s). On the same day, the on-site, registration late fee is $25. This tracking unit is separate from your transponder. THIS IS FOR YOUR SAFETY, NOT FOR YOUR SCORE. You will pick up the unit on site and our Racing Trax team will install it at the Tech & Event Expo. If you need a bracket, please order it today and have it installed before the event.
