Posted February 10, 2021
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: LAS VEGAS, NV (Feb. 11, 2021): Best In The Desert, world-renowned off-road racing organization, is proud to announce a new quarterly digital publication called DirtVenture.
The Official Magazine of Best In The Desert will include information on the series, race coverage, profiles on racers and staff, columns by management including co-owners and sons of Best In The Desert founder Casey Folks, Bryan and Daryl Folks, Race Operations Manager Jeff Phillips, and others, as well as off-road racing news, product updates, reviews, and more.
DirtVenture will replace the Best In The Desert event souvenir programs and become welcome commentary and exposition on the off-road racing lifestyle. The magazine will be digitally available on the Best In The Desert website and sent via the Best In The Desert email newsletter.
The inaugural issue of DirtVenture is planned to be released in March of 2021. As the readership of this new digital publication is expected to be vast, advertising will be available at competitive rates.
“Our new DirtVenture Magazine will be a welcomed breath of fresh air and will include the latest and greatest info from Best In The Desert,” commented Scot Harden, Marketing Director of Best In The Desert. “We’ve been looking to do something like this for a long time. Our form of racing is one of the most exciting sports on earth and what better way to share our lifestyle with the community than in a long-format magazine? The title represents the best of two important concepts on which founder Casey Folks built Best In The Desert: Dirt and Adventure. We are excited to see this project grow.”
DirtVenture will provide new voices and new discourse to the off-road racing conversation with an obvious focus on Best In The Desert, its races, and racers. With quality photography and thoughtful design, the Best In The Desert magazine will become a phenomenon that competitors, fans, volunteers, and new-comers to the sport will look forward to with each new edition.
